The challenge

Primephonic, a streaming service for classical music, was expanding their user base across a new subset of countries. They looked at new channels for promoting the streaming service, started Twitter performance campaigns, and used Wise.Blue to optimize those campaigns.

The strategy

A broad audience and a wide variety of precise segments were targeted and tested to maximize performance. Campaigns were being optimized by Wise.Blue autopilot on a daily basis and tested towards various targets, such as cost per sign-up.

The teams also continuously tested and compared new creatives and ad copies. Identifying what works best, the focus was shifted to those ad and target variations to achieve optimal results.

 

The results

The initiative paid off immensely, and after 15 months Primephonic achieved sizable improvements in ROI with 2x less spend compared to the period before the campaign. The total costs per sign-up was decreased by 81% and the total cost per purchase by 65%. Moreover, Twitter became one of the leading and preferred acquisition channels.
